Nearby Airports
You can get from either SFO or OAK to San Francisco several ways - BART*, Super Shuttle, or a cab. BART runs $1.50, but takes the longest. Super Shuttle will most likely set you back $15-$20 from SFO and $30 from OAK. A Cab is $35 from SFO and probably $50-$60 from OAK. There is also an airport in San Jose, but unless you have friends down there, I would fly into SFO or OAK.
*Mass Transit Information
BART from the East Bay
Use the Colma/San Francisco train line. Get off at Embarcadero station. Exit the Embarcadero station using the Ferry Building exit (east end). The Landmark at One Market is across the street to the left.
BART From the South
Take any train going east. Get off at Embarcadero station. Exit the Embarcadero station using the Ferry Building exit (east end). The Landmark at One Market is across the street to the left.
Hotels
- Hyatt - right across the street, but fairly expensive. If you have the marketing budget to blow and don't want to walk far - this would be the spot.
- Though I recommend saving your dollars for good eats so you should check out Hotels.com and finding somethinge a little less 'classy'.
